Elayne’s Response

She woke with a start her amber eyes wild as she looked around the room trying to figure out where she was. slowly the past day came back to her and she calmed herself as she sat up. she pushed her long white hair from her face and sat trying to collect her thoughts. Leaning forward, her shirt shifting to off her shoulder and lower against her chest she picked up the book that had fallen off her lap. She sat for a few minutes collecting her thoughts. Her dreams once again taking precedence over everything else she placed her head in her hands and tried to hold back the sobs. The red tears staining her cheeks and her hands as they just refused to stop. She was so mad and angry for becoming what she could to prevent. She looked out into the empty room her eyes blazing with injustice at those Men around her who had determined who she would be. Anger poured from her it flowed and grew with each passing second and it needed a release or it would overwhelm her to the point of non function.

She wiped her hands on her black skin tight pants and carefully placed the book on the chair next to her. slipping on her black stilettos she stood and thought carefully she was going to find someone in this d**ned place. She was hungry and mentally drained. Her body craved something she was not sure it would ever get again and she was going to find a way to alleviate all of these notions. This Lord Targent has not made His presence known and it was His castle. Rolling her eyes thinking just like a Man she moved quickly to the door. Like a panther her movements graceful, sensual and deadly, she would have no problem killing.

Leaving the Library she turned left. Her eyes paying careful attention to the things she had seen yesterday. Even it this way took her out of this castle then so be it. She wanted someone, anyone to be around. She needed answers she needed to vent. She needed a way to understand what had happened and why. The one person she had met was somewhere, who knows where and He did little to answer any questions, not that she asked any. Her mind was not able to move that quickly at the time, to much had happened in such a short period of time. Between the One who she thought she would spend her life with lying, the carnage in her village, and the change she was on overload. Well she thought she was past that. The One would always plague her thoughts for she would never look for another. The carnage in the village and the death of her mother could not be changed and neither could who she was now. With these thoughts running through her head she walked with purpose through the halls.

Her black pants moved in time with her hips, as they appeared to be a second skin. Her hair moved as thought it appeared to lick the exposed shoulder as she moved down the hall. Her amber eyes glowed as she moved steadily. She quiet in this place was maddening, even for those like her there should still be sound, yet all she heard was the soft click of the heel of her boots. Coming to a part in the hallway she stopped and thingyed her head to the right. her face was exposed as her long hair shifted when she thingyed her head. Her amber eyes looked sad. This truly was a rebirth of sorts. She was not to sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Alone once again, she seemed so sure and confident in herself yet the nagging doubt had been instilled and seemed almost impossible to get rid of. No amount of training had prepared her for this. Maybe if He was still around she could find out how to bring Him with her, but that was a fantasy a hopeless dream that would never be allowed to take place. For she had chosen her path oh so many months before all of this and there was no turning back. a soft gentle sigh escaped her lush red lips realizing that there was no Oone with whom she could even talk to about her situation.

Shaking her head as to clear out these thoughts she listened carefully catching another soft sound coming from somewhere. That must mean someone else is around. Another person, beast, undead, what ever, whom ever maybe could answer these questions. She moved steadily toward the sound. It seemed easier to navigate the hallways when there was something to guide her. this was a massive castle. She would have to explore more in the future maybe find someone who could show her around. With luck someone who did not look at her. she frowned slightly as she moved though the hallways. She found herself falling back into how she was trained. She continued to realize that she had to stop reacting to Eeveryone in this manner but realized it would take a long time. She longed to be where she belonged but that would not happen again. For she had seen the horrors of the truly sadistic, not much shocking her anymore, and her body before the change could endure a lot. Now with the strength and heightened senses she was not sure there would be One who could even crack the surface.

Stopping suddenly she realized she was at the steps in the main entrance way and the meeting rooms was up on her left. She really had to pay more attention. Her mind had drifted so she had no knowledge of how she had gotten here. Strange she literally had followed the sound and moved without thought, or so it seemed, using pure instinct to be where she needed to be. Once again her amber eyes glowed for she knew there was another person present. Amon was evidently long gone, maybe this new person could give her the answers and guidance she so sorely needed. Advancing to the steps she slowly started to climb. Her body moved as it had been trained to do. Her hips swayed softly enhanced only by the snug fitting black pants. The black stiletto heals making her legs look longer and making only the softest of sounds as she moved. The okra green peasant shirt flowed softly around her hips. She had not fixed the shirt and it still hung off her shoulder, the camisole being such a light color it appeared that she wore nothing and had left her shoulder bare. Her long hair licked at her back, seeming to almost give a tender caress in preparation for untold harsh events to come.

Stopping at the top of the steps her eyes took on a deeper color of amber as the dim light from the candles reflected off of her. Her pale skin appeared to glow for the change only cause to enhance all the traits and training she had been through along with her own natural ability. thingying her head her earrings catching the light as she listened to the sound it was a bit louder and that is when she spied the slightly opened door. She walked toward the door when she realized this room on the left was the room with the clothes. Stopping and looking about she knocked softly before entering. She peeked her head in before entering. She looked around and realized although her clothes were comfortable they were not practical if she was to finally encounter someone who would train her.

Walking to the racks of clothes she moved around them more carefully this time. She figured the black pants would do so she kept them. She saw a pair of flat black leather boots. Sitting on the chair on which she had just leaned on the other day she removed the stilettos and put on the high leather flats. They went far up her calf fitting snuggly she smiled as they were so comfortable and allowed her to walk as she was trained with no sound. Standing back up and walking about she searched for a shirt. Nothing thrilled her until she saw the other rack of clothes and moved over to it. She found an oversized button down deep blue shirt. Slipping the shirt over her head, loving the feel of the silky fabric against her skin she looked down and realize it feel to like her knees. Laughing softly, the sound carrying softly around the empty room she unbuttoned the bottom buttons and tied the two sides together. She then unbuttoned some of the top buttons allowing for some breathing room. Her neck free, minus the faint mark if one looked close enough, they would see a faint scar from the beginning of her training.

Satisfied with her clothes she left the room, making a mental note of where this room was with a smile and walked toward the sound again. She stopped when she got to the odd door. Her eyes widen and a curious expression on her face. She went to touch the door but drew her hand back hesitating a bit. Her mind flooding instantly with visions of her training, she fought her knees from giving way as the onslaught of the horrors she had faced bombarded her. The horror at what she had become made her knees go weak and she fell without a sound to the floor. Taking slow deep breaths, if that is what it was even called anymore, she tried to control the thoughts, she clenched her hands into fists, her long nails digging deep into her palms, yet she never noticed the pain. For this was a pain that she had endured so many times she barely felt the breaking of her skin.

Her eyes narrowed as she thought of the worst horror of them all, His betrayal. The anger slowly replaced the images in her head as she jumped to her feet and flung the door open. The pure primal need to fight pouring from ever fiber of her being as lines of blood ran from her hands from the wounds that were healing as she moved into the room. Her eyes gleaming as she saw Amon, working out. She was looking for nothing more then a fight, win or lose this needed to be done as she advanced into the room. Watching His hard training she realized a Man like this would already have a one, this thought just fueling her anger that they were all alike. Speaking so softly a sneer evident in her quiet words “this is how You are supposed to be helping me?” as she moved almost in a blink of an eye and slashed her long nails against His hard skin with more power then she even realized, nothing would have pleased her more to see long marks along His back

Leaning back she crouched down, one knee on the floor, one knee leaning up. Her right hand, fingers spread out on the floor her blood red nails screaming out against her pale skin while her left hand leaned on her left knee. Her eyes blazed with raw emotion. To look at her you could feel her energy flowing around her. Her hair flowed out around her face making it visible and clear to see. The movement impossible in a room with out any air, yet the energy surrounding her was overwhelming and she could tell by His expression He had no clue she had it. Her mind powerful before the change was so much more so now. She slammed into His mind, knowing He was not prepared for this and sought out anything and everything it could, moving quickly trying to gather what she could before He pushed her out. She stood slowly only a faint red tinge on her hand from where she had hurt herself. Her long hair moving in air that was not here, her eyes red and smoldering, waiting.

Amon’s Response

The movements flowed together, the hours becoming blurred, He trained. His mind on forcing His body back into old routines, training in His own home, He was not prepared for her attack. hearing her words caused Him to turn, bringing His arm up in reaction. the action saved His back from her nails, as they slashed across His forearm. four thin lines appeared on His skin, then disappeared just as quickly, the blood dripping off still. He raised an eyebrow, thoroughly confused as she knelt down. He felt something whisper around her, and He felt a tangible attack coming at Him. He couldn't see anything though, and when it hit His mind, He realized why.

so, she was a telepath. He had dealt with them before, the war all those ages ago had been fought by all kinds. His mind, trained by Targent, sealed off certain parts of His subconscious, but He knew she had been quicker then He. He felt her enter His mind, and He smiled inwardly. He began opening and closing doors in His mind, guiding her where He wanted her. all the while, He began gathering His own strength. He was something much different, which allowed Him to do things other vampires couldn't. in the palm of His right hand, held clenched at His side, He began building heat. the last door He opened showed her a picture of His fights with demons, killing them without mercy, though He, at the time, was more human looking. she wouldn't be able to see His face, but she would see Him kill another demon and start transforming into what He is now. after that image was burned into her mind, He smiled sadistically and closed all the doors in His head.

"so, you are a peeping tom, huh? well, I have a lesson for you then," as He spoke, He opened His palm, the fire engulfing His whole upper arm. He clenched His fist again and punched outward, the fire exploding from His arm and traveling fast right at her, "peeping toms get burned." He didn't leave it at that, though. as soon as the fire shot forward, He charged, His shoulder down to body check her. His wings snapped back, giving Him a greater push forward as He flew straight at her. she had shown she could fight, now He would see just how much she knew. He had been mistaken, He admitted, but that mistake was about to be corrected.

His whole body moved like He was nothing but a war machine, each muscle flexing and unflexing with perfect precision. if His bull rush hit her, it was likely to send her right out the door. but He was already prepared for multiple outcomes. if He missed, He could use His wings to stop instantly, and His legs were set to snap back behind Him. if He hit, but she didn't go as far as He expected, He had His left hand ready to grab her and throw her against the wall. He would not let her unprovoked and unfair attack go unpunished. though in a fight with anyone else, He would have done the same thing, against other kindred there was a code to follow.

Elayne’s Response

She did not realize that hours had passed as she sat there and read the vast amount of paper. She finally threw down the papers and stood up. she reached over her head and arched her back stretching her hands, clasping them together to work out the kinks from having been so absorbed in the reading and sitting in that position for so long.

She sighed and looked at the papers thrown across the table. Mumbling to herself “what a d**n waste” shaking her head she tilted her head feeling how tense she was and quickly cracked her neck. Looking around, her amber eyes having the look of bring caged, wild and unsettled, she quickly fixed the papers in a neat pile and moved from the room. Her body moving as though a cat, sleek and poised ready for anything. She felt pent up energy and fought her impulses to find Amon or anyone to lash out.

She shook her head and reached out to take the knot from her hair. Between what she had been through, what she had become, who she was, this war, her war now, the treaty, those plans and papers she had been reading for hours she stood at the door looking out in the hallway a big numbly.

Moving from the room turning toward the right, going in the direction of the stairs she started to clear her mind as she moved. The edginess remained yet she let her mind wander needing to release what had become a constant assault on her. She had lost everything she knew and felt more unsure and lost now then ever before. Sighing so softly she moved through the hallway, her hips which looked like they had been poured into the tight black pants offset by the light colored camisole and okra green peasant top, which v shape dipped low enough to leave to the imagination the wonders of her breast but allowed for a hint of the pale skin to show at the top. Her long soft white hair swayed against her back with each step as she moved deeper into the castle.

She looked in each room that led to the steps and beyond. There were so many rooms. One, clearly a music room, held; a huge piano, harp, music stands, sheet music and other items she could not identify from the doorway. She was becoming tired, no not tired, but worn. The past hours and days had taken a toll on her mentally. Physically her body could go on for a long time, especially now with the change, she thought as she moved gracefully through the halls. Hours, days, and months of training had taught her body about long hours of being used. Sighing so softly she wondered if she would ever find the One who could complete her, especially now.

These thoughts ran through her head as she continued to walk the hallways of the castle. She had passed a few, what appeared to be guest rooms that seemed to be unused but this just left her feeling more alone. She had met only Amon, and He she assumed was still upstairs where she had left Him. She had not see another in the hours.

Looking around she realized she had no clue where she was. Lost, what an appropriate word, it seemed to file every part of her. Shrugging softly, figuring she would eventually find her way, bump into someone, or Amon would tell someone to find her, hopefully, she continue to explore the castle, looking into the next room.

Her eyes widened as a bright smile appeared on her face. Her amber eyes glowed as she looking into the most fantastic room ever. A library filed with shelves and shelves, top to bottom of books. She clapped her hands in delight, appearing almost child like in her enthusiasm, although it would be a deadly mistake to believe she was less then a full grown woman.

Quickly she entered the room, standing there and turning around, never in her whole life has she seen such a mass of books in one place. The book cases ran from ceiling to floor and covered almost eighty percent of the room. The room also held two huge windows, draped with heavy beautifully done cloth curtains. The room held a enormous fireplace, oversized chairs, arm chairs, sofas, and tall lamps casting warm inviting light completed the room.

She moved slowly into the room all the while staring at the books. She moved closer toward the walls lined with books running her pale hand, long nails catching the soft light in the room, lovingly over the books. Her eyes devoured each title as she looked up, around and over each book. Carefully she pulled a book off the shelf. Caressing the book like a gentle lover, smiling sadly at that thought. She moved to an over sized chair in the back corner of the room. A tall lamp casting a soft glow over the chair making it look warm and inviting, a place where she could hide, not be noticed.

She held the book to her chest , her eyes glowing softly as she sat down. Placing the book on her lap she bent over. Her v neck peasant shirt showed her ample cleavage, as she slipped off the black heeled boots. Wiggling her toes with a smile she curled her legs under her, getting comfortable.

Leaning back she opened the book and started to read, a favorite of hers, “Little Women”. Holding the book in her lap she rested her head on the chair back and closed her eyes for just a moment. Her long white hair covering her face as she curled up, laying her head down on the arm of the chair buried in the crock of her arm. The tight black pants moved as she did getting comfortable on the chair and the okra green v neck peasant shirt shifted showing more of the camisole to show which made it appear as if she was wearing nothing and fell asleep, plagued by dreams that she could never control.

Amon’s Respnse

After elayne walked out of the room, He finished sorting the clothes out, then exited the room Himself. His long stride, punctuated by small thuds with each step, took Him towards His destination quickly. the muscles of His body flexed with each movement, and to a trained eye, they would see that He was always waiting for action. His purple eyes scanned the hallways, a sigh escaping His fanged mouth. where was E/everyone? He hadn't seen another vampire in the castle since He slept. He hadn't even heard from Targent, which rather worried Him. His thoughts drifting to elayne, He smiled to Himself. she was an attractive one, not as attractive as her, but she was a sexual thing, for sure. His mind drifted to her, and His eyes took on a sad tinge. He wasn't sure what she was up to, hadn't heard from anyone. He shook His head, clearing those thoughts as He came to His destination.

a large metal door, with a spinning handle like a safe, stood in the middle of a long hallway on the third floor. the only other rooms on this floor were the library, and His own bedroom. He gave the door a thorough once over. no markings on it, most wouldn't even know what it was. He ran His hand along the hinges, His claws not even denting it. this door, and the room beyond had been made specifically for Him, for Targent knew about His difference, and they had both agreed it should be kept secret. He grasped the handle, His large hands wrapping around the metal, and gave it one good spin. it rotated open, the door creaking inward. He smiled as the smell of the room floated towards Him. He pushed the door open wider, slipping in and taking a long look around.

His training room, the combat dummies, the machines, were in perfect condition still. He grinned wider, His fangs glistening in the light. He moved over towards one of the dummies, the charred, slashed man-like dummy looking pitiful. He turned around, and found the switch that activated the combat program. He flipped it, and watched as the dummies came to life, a system of pulleys and levers moving their limbs like a real person. He cracked His knuckles and waded in, claws swinging with intense ferociousness. for an hour, He trained, the sweat dripping, His body straining to remember all He had learned. it had been too long, He needed to train harder again. He kept going, another hour, two more. He didn't want to stop, not until He had nothing left.

His mind and body working as one, He punched and kicked and slashed through the dummies, all else forgotten at the moment. the door, the large metal door, stood ajar, as He had been so intent on the room that He had forgotten to close it all the way.

Amon’s Response

He smiled to Himself at her enthusiasm, watching her go through the clothes like they were new toys. after seeing what she picked out, He moved over to the other side, and began sifting through the men's clothes. He knew she had a good body, but it wasn't His to watch. He also knew that she thought He was trying to get her into His bed. He turned around as she was getting the pants around her round firm buttocks. He chuckled to Himself, seeing what she was trying to do. she had really mistaken what He had been trying to do. He gave her an approving nod at the sight, then turned back around to sort through a pile of shoes. He turned towards the door as she started walking through it with her final comment. He chuckled again, His deep voice reverberating through the room. she was ready for their fight, survival was a step closer.

Elayne’s Response

She heard Him chuckling as she left the room. mumbling to herself about Men and jackass as she moved along the hallway. The light was dim, not that she needed much light anymore, as she moved along the stone hallway. She moved slowly not really having a destination just wanting to familiarize herself with her new home. there were amazing paintings on the walls. She took time and looked at every one of them. strange that she had never gotten a feeling from a picture before yet some of these screamed to her. she leaned on the wall putting her pale cheek against the cool stone to steady herself. this was going to have to stop. She needed to learn more control, laughing softly at that statement that bounced around in her head, she leaned up and continued to move along the hallway.

She ran her hand along the stones feeling the bumps and edges that each one held. this place was huge she thought as she walked to the stairs, thinking the best way to start was on the first floor. she heard the soft click of the black stiletto heel as she walked. Her hips form fitted into the skintight black pants offset by the light colored camisole that blended into her skin. The okra green peasant shirt she wore hung over her hips and the v accentuated her ample breasts. Both dark colors against her skin only made her look paler and more alluring. She frowned at this thought, as the last thing she needed was a man.

Thankful that somewhere in the back of her mind she had her front toward Him as she changed. It allowed her to hide the now permanent marks that could be faintly seen on her back if one looked closely enough. She still was not sure how if ever she would bring up that part of her life. Not really sure that those around her would care but scared that some might wish to take advantage of it. A soft sigh escaped lips as she moved toward the staircase. She did not look forward to that bit of information coming out nor did she look forward to what would happen if control herself. it was hard enough she thought, as she descended the ornate steps, to control her take on others let alone anything else.

Her hand glided down the rail as her eyes took in the enormous entranceway. She thought nothing about how she looked anymore or sight she caused as she moved. her eyes took in the rich deep colors that adorned the castle. Stopping at the bottom of the steps she looked around at the rich reds and oranges, the deep dark heavy wood that made up the doors and stairs, and the metal that brought it all together. Someone had taken great care with this place. Moving straight as she left the stairs she moved in the direction of the front door. Working from the beginning toward the end so to speak to learn her way around.

Once at the door she turned and stared out into the castle. her amber eyes glowing with the thought of an adventure. She paid no heed to the thought of asking or waiting for someone to tell her what to do, had had enough of that for the time being. Not one could handle her free spirit or her inquisitive mind and Aall left her disappointed and yearning for more. She walked as in the direction she had with Amon, laughing softly as she thought of Him. He thought she was unable to take care of herself. admitting as she moved with the faintest sound of her heel down the hallway that she would need to know more about, well everything just to stubborn to admit defeat. she wondered if He would be the one training her, not an unpleasant thought.

On the right was the room He had told her about where some sort of meetings were held. stopping and hesitating for a fraction of a second before turning to enter the room. it was a large room, big enough to accommodate a large group. It was a Mans room, as was this castle, and it spoke of, cocking her head and frowning, fighting. Wrinkling her nose and again sighing realizing that this was now her war. She moved into the room more and noticed papers and such just laying everywhere. Around the chair at the head of the table was a ton of papers, and her curiosity over took her and she walked over and sat down in the big chair and started to look at the papers. Thinking this was much more fun then exploring, she threw her legs up on the table and leaned back picking up the first set of papers and started to read.
